Michael-Paul Sutherland

Salutations friends! My name is michael-paul sutherland (little mike to some and mike to the rest). My idea began in highschool, doodling in my binders and messing about with friends. I had the idea of a tattoo cafe, well at least the fusion of food and tattoos. After highschool life was fast, i had my first son, i started working and diving into the layout of my vision and searching info about any previous attempts. In my work and search i discovered that in all of Canada there has been only two other attempts at this fusion, sadly shut down due to health violations. In my off hours of work i have been running my first phase of the dream, practicing, sketching, sampling ideas and trends and offering work to those who are interested in some good art. I love to do calligraphy work, tribal may be dead but its a favorite of mine along with solid color and abstract peices. Latest practice has been diving into geometric and symbolism. I will never claim to be the best but i do have a passion for using my creativity to bring a smile to people, whether it be through the skin or on the plate.
