Nicholas Craven Jr
City Council Candidate
Michigan • Lincoln Park
A little about me,
I advocate for the accountability in our water crisis, roads and the information to go along with it. As a dedicated member of society, I don’t believe it’s right for council to tell us “not to complain” about our water bills. As we all, work very hard for our paycheck, just to get a “estimated bill”. Im a Professionally Certified Human Rights consultant and a Professionally Certified Tradesman. As an active Local Union member I am passionate about giving back to my community while progressing and protecting human rights. I believe that my experience in the union trades (mills, batteries and fabricators) working along side, while daily auditing our utility suppliers has provided me with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively serve the residents of Lincoln Park, my Family and I. I have had the opportunity to work on various projects that include policy and sop revisions in my trade. My top priorities include making crucial information easier and more accessible with modernized publishing and inclusive engagement and bringing the community population back with revitalizing our business community development, increasing the safety and civic engagement for everyone all while promoting transparency in local government with real results. Better looking roads means more customers, happier residents with fewer car repairs and a strong business district!
